On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC) will launch a social media campaign called #HowItAllStarted. It will feature the women working at the institute in different fields (research, engineering and administration) explaining what they do, their background and what took them to pursue a career in science.

We will focus on publishing weekly videos until the beginning of March, but the goal of this campaign is to show the women working at ICE-CSIC all year long, with a lower publication frequency, since the objectives of February 11th extend to the rest of the year. That way, you’ll get to know them better, as well as their work and their models.

The videos will be published on the institute’s Instagram account (@ice_csic) in different languages depending on the speaker (English, Catalan, Spanish). The first video features the PhD researcher Simranpreet Kaur and you can watch it here.
